K-Cal prolongs shelf life after harvest, since it allows obtaining more consistent fruits. It is indicated for the treatment of disorders related to calcium assimilation, helping to avoid or reduce fruit cracking and improving their conservation conditions, by favoring pulp consistency. It is especially useful to prevent apical rot in tomato and bell pepper, and to correct problems in the first flowers.
In stone fruit trees, K-Cal is effective against apical rot. In cotton, it is used to control bolls in early fall.
Compatibility:
K-Cal should not be mixed with mineral oils, copper, sulfur or alkaline reaction products. It is also not recommended to mix with fertilizers containing phosphates.
